Immunizations are important
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that vaccine-preventable diseases are at an all-time low, however, the risks of outbreak remain due to a large number of under-immunized children.
Teens and adults often go under-immunized as well, missing opportunities to defend themselves against several diseases that pose a risk later in life.
